The Thermory™ Ignite product range provides an eye-catching exterior and interior cladding board solution. As well as wall panels with an additional treatment that is suitable for the sauna.
Thermory™ Ignite cladding provides the same appealing look as charred timber. With durability all the way through to the core. And unlike charred wood, Ignite doesn’t have the issue of messy residue.
Over time, the charred surface of yakisugi cladding becomes tarnished and carbonised particles fall away. In addition, this type of cladding can’t be maintained. It is meant to change over time. Ignite’s pattern is permanent, and the surface colour also lasts longer thanks to Thermory’s intense thermal modification process.
Thermory™ recommend carrying out periodic maintenance painting if the paint layer becomes worn or the appearance of the cladding becomes uneven over time. For for Ignite 7, every 7 years with a water-based opaque (full coating) RAL9005 paint.
When deciding on the quantity to order be sure to allow for cutting waste (normally allow >10%) and to allow for gaps (i.e. decking) or board joints/overlaps (i.e. T&G) as appropriate. Prices and shipment calculations are based on overall board widths. QEH will ship the requisite number of boards. Check Thermory™ installation instructions carefully.
