Description

Our Siberian Larch Decking (Reeded/Grooved) is finely finished and ready for use. They can vary in tone and can be expected to have some minor knots.

A durability class 3 timber Siberian Larch can be expected to give a long service life. Suitable for outside decking in the Irish climate Siberian Larch is dense and durable. Treatment is optional. If left it will silver over time but treatment with a quality Decking oil is recommended.

Use stainless fixings and avoid nailing too close to the ends to prevent splitting. Piece parts as ordered are supplied ready for use.

Siberian Larch is very resinous and extremely hard wearing. It is one of the toughest and most durable softwoods in the world. Siberian Larch? makes excellent Decking for both home and business projects. It has a natural resistance to decay and does not need extra treatment. Therefore it can be installed in its natural state.

Compared to Spruce and Pine, Siberian Larch Decking is more weather-proof because of its more dense wood structure and high content of resin.

Decking is dispatched from our sawmill at given sizes. But a margin of error should be used for expansion and contraction in the timber.
